Hi All,

Just to give some certainty for the people travelling Friday, the weather forecast for the weekend is not the greatest, but appears better than last year. So at this stage, we will continue with the function as planned for this weekend. The forecast is only for scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms, i.e. they're not server thunderstorms.
Temperatures are 24 to 31 degrees during the daytime, with a relatively warm 15 to 19 degrees at night.

Just summarising who is coming along. The numbers in brackets are people participating in the dinner and the included deserts.
- louisrankin (1 Adult, 1 child)
- cuboid (2 Adults)
- Dalmatian (2 Adults) coming Friday.
- BenJancz (1 Adult)
- Dave (2 Adults, 4 kids)
- jonathan.viki (2 Adults)
- Capella_Ben (2 Adults, 3 kids)
- Cheesemaker (3 adults, including Gary Owen)
- maverick01 (1 adult)
- gilcoby (3 Adults) - Coby and Gilbert arriving Friday.
- dippys handbrake (2 Adults) (Arriving Friday)
- neuvotech (party of 5, but not participaing in the catered dinner)
- Boxy (2 Adults)
- Nedly (2 Adults)
- Paul & Keri (2 Adults and 1 child for dinner only on the Saturday).

The meeting point is the Shell at Aratula. Please arrive by 8:45am to sign the trip sheet, and to allow for a 9am sharp departure.

Please remember to bring cash along as the park office has no EFTPOS facilitates .
Costs are:
- Dinner - $25 per adult, and $12.50 per child (5 to 15), and free for children under 5. (Dinner is scheduled to start at 6:30pm to 6:45pm)
- Camping - $9.50 per adult and $7.00 per child (5 to 15) .... 3rd and 4th child per family is free.
- 4WD pass - $25 per vehicle for the weekend (well, valid for 7 days)

Boxy, if we don't meet up with you at Aratula, and make your own way to Janowen Hills, would you stop at the office to pay your fees. The office is approximately 4km past the entrance of the 4x4 park.

Looking forward to catching up with you all over the weekend.

David,

Mr Gary Owen will be joining us for the weekend, he will be wanting tea as well on Sat night, his family is sick and cannot make it, I believe he is going to give us money so we should let him attend.

Hi All,
It may be a little wet this morning, but the forecast is for the showers to clear. So the trip is still on.
We will also have some guests (Paul and Keri) come along for dinner only tonight.

For people running very late to the meeting point at Aratula, would you like to make your way directly to the park.
