cuboid wrote:That sounds like a good idea Dipmaker. I have just booked now, she did say there were still quite a few sites left. The weather forecast at this stage is not to great though.

Also checked out the firewood situation, we could get a 1/4 trailer of wood for $35 or $10 a bag. Anyone interested? Save us from carting stuff up there.
I'm happy to contribute to a 1/4 trailer of wood.

So far we have the following coming on the trip:
Cuboid
Capella Ben
Dipmaker
Dave
Boxy

It appears that we are all making our own way to the camp ground on Friday afternoon, so there will be no meeting point on the Saturday, unless of course there are some late joiners.

Here is a gps track to the camp site from the D'aguilar Highway

I will also update the Bellthorpe GPS track page in the members section

Mark, I hope I am not speaking out of turn but on the website under "Location and Directions" it states the following:

Directions From Brisbane
Drive north on the Motorway over the Gateway Bridge from Brisbane past the turnoff to Bribie Island, and take the Kilcoy exit on the D’aguilar Hwy towards Woodford. Turn right 12 klms past Woodford at Mary Smokes Creek Rd, drive 16 klms to Cedarvale Rd, then left for 2.5 klms to us.
DON'T USE G.P.S. USE MAP PROVIDED.

I have been told that since the flooding last year part of Sandy Creek Road in closed?

Hope I haven't confused anyone

Kim,

The track I put up is a log of my own trip to the campground on 30 Dec 2013, not generated from an external source.

Thanks Mark. Didn't want anyone to get lost in the dark.

See you there. Looking forward to catching up with everyone
