Mt Barney Wilderness Camping Saturday 19th & Sunday 20th Nov

Post by CBM_64 »

The club has arranged the annual Christmas Party for Saturday 19th & Sunday 20th November. It will be at Mount Barney Retreat. It has a covered campfire, a wood heater and hopefully hot showers depending on the water situation. It also has a kitchen with sink, gas rings, fridge, freezer and a bush oven for roasts or pizzas. You can check out the website here; http://www.mtbarneyretreat.com.au/ Access to the retreat is 4WD only. They are also pet friendly. The cabins are booked out and there might be other campers so the wood fired pizza oven may be busy. Some of the tracks may be closed if they haven't dried out by the time we go.

As all the committee members should be there we can have our AGM at some time over the weekend.

Where; Mount Barney Retreat, Waterfall Creek Rd, Maroon, QLD
When; Saturday 19th & Sunday 20th November
Meeting Place; BP 43 High St, Boonah, QLD, 4310
Time; Departure time is 9:00am
Cost; $30 per adult for camping. Bring cash to pay on arrival.
UHF; Channel 13
Trip Standard; Green to Blue
Trip Leader; Cos

Thanks Cos. See you at Boonah.
The weather is looking pretty reasonable as well - how did you organise that?
Cheers,

Any pictures? Maybe I'll go there when I have some free time.
