The Springs 4wd Park 11-12th Feb

Hi All,

With the weather the way it has been, I decided to defer the Crystal Vale trip until later. I rang the springs park and they have missed out on the rain so far (only got 30mm) and the forecast looks pretty good.

Trip Leader: Ben (Capella_Ben) or whoever wants to give it a go!

Meeting location: Aratula Shell at 8:00am
UHF: Channel 13.

I have had some ideas for some skills based tests before we start on Saturday. I'll need some help to organise it, but it will be fun.

They also do night driving at the springs. I really want to give this a go this time.

The weather forecast for Warwick looks pretty good so far. Should be good for camping!

Rusty's leg seems to be fine now and I have confirmed with the Springs that dogs are allowed (even though Mark did tell me already...) so we are planning to be there this weekend.

Im thinking about tagging along with you guys again this weekend.. Thinking being the key work tho. its my fiance 21st and well, we'll see what happens.
And also, what does "standard - Black Diamond" stand for??

Hi Tim,

Black Diamond means "Mainly low range and standard ground clearance."

You'll be fine as, like most parks, they have a variety of tracks.

They do have EFTPOS there. I can't remember if they like us to collect firewood anymore. I'll bring a box of wood as well.
