Ben, Jane, Hunter, Magnus and Axel,
Ben and Mariana,
David, Melinda, Fiona, Chris, Andrew and Robert.

Someone forget to do the weeding on some tracks.

It wasn't too long before we came across deeper rutted tracks.

Lunch was back at Charlie Moreland's day-use area. The kids were showing us how to drive over fallen branches.

After lunch, we drove back along the track many people tested before during the Christmas function, but this time in the dry. Many of the group were adventureous enough to try a more difficult side track.

But what is this rare creature coming up the track? Ahhh ... the rare Red Holden-Frontera-ous. And it raced up the track in one go.

The track was so steep further up ahead, it was easier to walk back down to the side of the track.

Ben with his 80 got up the track (yeah ... lockers needed), but then had a good reversing exercise further ahead. But no-one on this track ran into real difficulty. Just some racing heartbeats though. Dave even got his family to jump out of the car when coming down an interesting but steep section (it's in the video

We then drove along the main track to reach the corner where cars were sliding down during the Christmas function event. But in the dry, it was a very easy section.

We made it up to the top of the hill, passing some very nice rainforest.

But time was passing quickly, so we sadly had to turn back to go home. Feedback from the group was that everyone had a good day, and all track levels tested.

And here is a video of the trip ... only 99 seconds long (and 5 hours to edit

Cheers
Dave.
