Grafton Jacaranda Festival & Richmond Ranges 2nd to 3rd Nov

Post by RegyRocky »

Well what a lovely trip this was.

Firstly I headed down to Grafton via the bitumen and then had a good look around the Jacaranda festival. It was very interesting and sorry I left the camera in the car so not pics of the festival. After some time i headed out to a secret spot for a swim in a beautiful warm crystal clear river. It was so nice. I then headed up the Gilbalter Range and onto the Bald Nob road to bypass Glenn Innes and made camp at Tenterfield. A lovely pub crawl around the local pubs and stopping for Pizza for dinner.
The next day waking up to a slightly chilly and foggy morning I headed out for the morning walk before breakfast and then prepared to travel the back roads back home. I hit some amazing roads most of which were dirt with lots of scenery rivers, steep descents, long steep drop offs down to the river below.
I have added a dropbox link to the photos.

You have some good photos there Gary. It looks like it was a beautiful drive, I'm sorry I missed it.
