Well we arriced at the park about 9pm friday night only to find Ben,Steve and family already set up and already of consumed a few too many drinks.
Saturday morning came and after breakie we hit the tracks about 9am and went for a nice leisurly drive through a few shallow creeks and decided to head back to camp about 10:30 only to find Kim never made us all lunch (pretty slack i thought LOL).
On our next trip out around lunch time we then met up with Brent and Leah and decided to head back to camp for them to set up camp and all had lunch, After lunch we decided to show Brent and Leah around the park and while going on some of the easier tracks which where enjoyable for all. After i was lead astray and eneded up going up an extreme track and once being commited to this track and hitting a rock ledge and the vehicle pointing skyward bound for a split second and there are now nail marks imprinted into the passengers side grab rail we then had to return back to the group only to back track to the rain forest which was nice little drive for all. These tracks filled in the rest of the day and all headed back to camp about 5pm.
Sunday morning came around and around about 9ish we all headed out for another nice drive and Ben and myself found a little creek crossing at camp and we all continued onto the other creeks and once Stev and Brent decided to turn back, Ben and I continued along claw gorge and found this track to be really enjoyable down criss crossing the creek several times and we then ventured onto camp road and then from there we headed back to camp only to be distracted by club rally circuit which was different to say the least.
We found a great photo oppurtunity at the pig pen. Around lunch time we headed back to camp and packed up and left the park around 2ish.
After leaving the park Steve found a very scenic drive up through the mountains back towards kilcoy which led me straight into the arms of a copper.
If anyone has any photos they want to add feel free and if possible could you also post what track the photos were taken on so i can relate to the report.
Thanks to all that attended and look forward to seeing Brent and Leah out on the tracks again soon.
