Scenic Rim 26th Jan

Post by Capella_Ben »

As the freshwater trip has unfortunately been cancelled due to the weather, we could try for somewhere inland a little; like Scenic Rim. I gave them a ring today to see what the conditions are like there now. They reported getting only 3mm or rain yesterday and it looks good there at the moment.

If, for some reason, we can't go here, the backup, backup plan is the condamine river.

Where- The park is situated about 40 mins south of Beaudesert, near Rathdowney
When- Saturday 26th January
Meeting Place- McDonald's Beaudesert for a 9am departure
Uhf - Channel 13
Costs - $35 for the day
Standard - Black diamond (due to the possibility of slippery conditions)

What to bring- Bring lunch, drinks and perhaps something to sit on as I do not know what facilities will be there.

It's been ages, could not remember how to do a post. I'm in, with Anita not sure about Lioness----still thinking about it?
Detouring to Condamine Gorge could be a interesting trip as well? Wet well why not, it will be a heap of fun.

Cheers Cheesemaker
