You know, the old bumper you took off would be pretty rare these days. There would not be too many 80s left without a bull bar. Not sure that anyone would need it though...

I have seen the offroad 80s site as well as the LCOOL one. Haven't registered for either yet but will do soon.
Yeah I've still got the bumper but not really sure if there is a market for them

If it is in good condition it will soon be a collectors item as I am told that toyota are discontinuing the landcruiser in the very near future.

I was just looking at you photos Jonathan and I am wondering if the car will fit in the garage with a 2 inch lift and 33's.

If the current suspension was newish then I might think it would fit ok as it would be enough space. But factoring in the sag in the suspension it might not. Will just have to cross that bridge when we get there I guess

So after bashing up the exhaust for the second time at the least trip to Janowen we figured the only thing to do was to upgrade the suspension. Decided on the 2 inch OME after advice from Ben (we have somewhat similar cars...)
Happy with the results, about 2.5 inch increase in the front and 4 inch increase in the back. Shows how much the stock suspension has sagged over the years.
Photo isn't fantastic as the light wasn't great, will try to take a better one over the weekend.

Wow - that's some great clearance at the back now (and front too). And it looks like it still fits in the garage. But how much clearance do you still have?
Is there still space for a roof rack?

So there is definitely enough for the 33s but not enough for a roof rack. Given we have the camper trailer though shouldn't be much need for it.

Looking good! The old suspension can be pretty saggy. Not bad after 20 years of hard work. Most other cars are flat out lasting 10 years...
It will be interesting to see what tyres you get.
