So where did you want to camp? I only know the spot where we have camped in the past.

Is anyone else planning on going up on the Friday?

mel and i will probably head out on friday also.

there are powered sites at the new camp ground (big shed) only cost extra few bucks. plus close to toilets and showers. the creek is in walking distance. id rather camp near toliets and showers than on creek bank.

I might be able to come Friday night.....TBC. I probably won't be there until 7:30pm, but should be able to join people for a late dinner around the fire.

I'm happy for a site near the creek, as it's likely I won't have the kids with me, and won't be distributed by lots of snoring people, or people playing music all night. But I'll go anywhere if others have a strong preference.

Does anyone have a map of the park from a previous trip that they can scan and put up?

Also, do we need to book?

I am going to come up on Saturday morning, If I am the only one coming up on Saturday I should be there rather bright and kind of earlyish. I will be staying one night, and head home Sunday Arvo. Mariana cant come, she has to stay home to service and rotate the tyres on the Honda Jazz.
Cheers Ben and Mariana and Indiana

Well, we needed some rain.

What are peoples thoughts - too wet for Janowen? And weather forecast with isolated storms for Saturday.

Yes too wet for us. I think I'll look for a day trip instead. I was thinking Bribie island. Need to check the tides.

I'm still keen to go camping - Glendon is much flatter country and might be good for a drive with a few mud holes. Also got the large lake for a swim.

Looks like there has been less than 25 mm out there so far.
