Heres a good video of quite few Beer O'Clock heel climbs. Be sure to check the short wheel based Wrangler in the middle, gets himself into a very interesting position at the top, a JK wrangler that just crawls up and especially for you Dave, the last one is a Prado making it to the top (I expect to see you tackle it next time we are there :drive: )

Wow, I wouldn't want to be in the wrangler.

In the video it doesn't look that steep. But watching the first few guys losing forward momentum, and then how far and fast they roll back, it must be a very steep climb.

Yes - I don't know why that Wrangler didn't just roll over. A very lucky guy.
There were a few cars (and even the Prado) that were getting thrown around at that point.

It's hard to tell, but that Prado may have had 33" tyres. I only have the 32s. But definitely worth a try on 32s. I don't think high clearance or a front locker is needed.

BTW - did you see the guy with the 2 snorkels and the custom tuned turbo. He is the one that didn't make it up, well, at least not on the video. Too much tyre spin.

This is so funny. Some great 4x4 vehicles with really nice tyres deflated too a low lever ... much like the skills of the drivers. If the first guy didn't succeed, why not take the same line and repeat the outcome again, and again, and again, .....

If you want to see some amateur lumberjacks driving on a road of Max Tracks while doing a risk assessment, this is the movie for you!

Looks like Maxtrax got some good advertising. Though I couldn't see why they needed them. That was only a slight speed bump on the road.
But I also saw Kaymar got some advertising, and could even see their Melbourne phone number on this US based show.

I was thinking about the standard of safety .... seconds before the guy sliced his leg.

Actually that guy has quite a few good videos:

The old coach road ones are good as well as the birdsville inside track.
