I took the radiator out of my car last weekend and got ALOT of mud out from in between the fins. It might pay for guys that have been through some serious mud to do the same. There was plenty of mud in the AC radiator as well. When i took the bash guard off the front to remove the radiator there was plenty of mud stuck inside the chassis cross members. My driveway looks like I have been to Glasshouse again but all I have done is remove mud that is impossible to clean without taking bits off my car. Last month I removed my rear tyres, calipers and Handbrake drum to clean all the mud in there that was jamming up my Handbrake.

Thanks for the update Ben.

I was particularly interested in your comments about the brake calipers. I had that "squeak" in the rear after going through some mud at the Glasshouse Mountains. I removed the rear wheel, and washed out a even more mud. It turned out a spring holding the handbrake shoe had broken (probably years before I bought the car), and the mud had pushed handbrake shoe forward a little resulting in slight contact with the drum, i.e. a squeak.
New springs were installed, and all is good now.
