Darlington Park

We decided to go for a drive today and ended up going out through Beaudesert and ended up arriving at Darlington Park, which is located approx 27kms the otherside of Beaudesert.
After meeting Neale the park owner/operator we discussed the park and the park its self accomodates up to 150 camp sites, unfortunately none are powered. The park has a running creek through the centre which is very nice and there are alot of nice camp sites by the creek or up the back in secluded camp sites. There are NO showers but the creek is nice enough to paddle in or you can drive another 3-4kms down the road to a deep waterhole. In regards to the creek, I was informed that he would prefer no fishing due to the kids but he is fine with yabbie pots or if you want to fish then your welcome to use the waterhole down the road.
There are toilets onsite and also a massive oval over the road, there are plenty of shady spots, its dog friendly as long as there on a lead and cleaned up after. Also there is running tap water there but he does reccomend that it is NOT DRINKABLE
The park costs are as follows $6 per adult per night
$3 per child per night or
$17 per family per night
We will be doing a trip out there soon and i reckon we should do a club trip out there and i also forgot to mention that you dont need a 4wd to access the park and if we do a trip out there then we could also do a trip up Duck Creek Road to Oreillys
