Levuka--June 9-10-11 Queens Birthday Long weekend
Posted: May 22nd, 2012, 7:04 pm
Now the club is proposing a trip to Levuka 4 WD Park
Where it is: Via Beaudesert- Rathdownie- Woodenbong---Located in Northern NSW just over the border.
When: Queens Birthday Long weekend 9-10-11th June
Meeting Place: Saturday 9th- Beaudesert MacDonald’s for a 08:30 departure please
Last Fuel Stop: Woodenbong on Saturday morning.
NOW THIS BIT IS VERY VERY IMPORTANT IF YOU HAVE A SMALL FUEL TANK
On Monday chances are the township of Woodenbong will be closed, so you will have to have enough fuel to get yourself back to Beaudesert.
What to expect: A real good time also heaps of 4wd Tracks thru a grazing property with pockets of Rainforest with lots of mud and grass
Weather: Day’s will be shirt/shorts maybe a light pull over, who know's could be freezing?---Nights will be very cold so bring warm clothing and bedding please. If this place rains it gets very boggy and slippery.
What to bring: All your 4wd recovery gear and a heap of grog, no shops nearby will be open so bring food along if you’re into that sort of thing, who knows you might get hungry even some water.
Trip Leader: Cheesemaker
