Any one of the gold panning areas with a creek/river (e.g. northen NSW area)

Good to hear from you again Louis.
Nothing has been planned for the 12th at this stage, so this is your opportunity to suggest somewhere. I wont be able to make it, but I am sure some other club members will be able to.

I'm thinking of going for a drive tomorrow (Monday) if you are interested. Might be going to Booloumba Falls for a swim.

Hi Ben,
I would love to go but unfortunately I am working. I am now working in the City Ann Street opposite the Telstra Building if you want to meet up I can then return the memory stick.

Hello All
Tara Camel races are on again this year (held bi annually)on August 2nd-4th 2013.
It is much more than Camel races-2 days of non stop entertainment
-check it out on
http://www.tarafestivalncamels2013.com.au
Camping onsite at the Showgrounds is free with good facilities and free fire wood supplied by the locals.
Cost is
1 Day Pass Family $20.00(2 adults & 4 children under 18yrs)
Single $10.00
Week-end pass Family $50.00
Single $25.00
Tara is a 4 hour drive west of Brisbane and it will be cold in August, plenty of other things to see & do if we think one day of Camel racing is enough.
I am happy to be trip leader for this great fun week-end
Karen

Sounds interesting Karen, thanks for the suggestion and I have added it to the trip calendar.
I have also added the 4wd Corroberee in Imbil for October.
