Hi all,
Was crawling around under the cruiser (as you do) and noticed that the upper mounts for the sway bar was stuffed. In fact the left side top most mount had fallen in half.
These plastic ones are useless. I got new rubber ones to replace them and they were even cheaper than new plastic ones. 10 minute job to replace them.
I checked out the rear sway bar mounts and they look to be the original rubber ones. Bit worn, but still going on strong.
While I was there I noticed this.
Good thing I got the stone guards.
Make sure you do a through vehicle check after each trip away! I always do. When was the last time you greased your uni???

I grease mine before EVERY beach trip and about every three months otherwise. There are about ten grease points just for the driveline on the Hilux and I have found the hard way just how important this is.

Did you finally get around to getting it turboed and what breed of turbo and also who did the work.
By the way i have a boost gauge for sale if you want to keep and eye on boost pressure

It was also repainted and he got the tray shortened to stop the rattle??
