Firewood and Home Brew Bottles

Looks like we are moving shortly and we have a pile of 50 year old hardwood studs and framework. Makes good firewood. Is anyone interested?

Also have about 40 x 750ml XXXX bottles (non twist tops). Are there any home brewers amongst us that would be interested in some free bottles? Can throw in the fermenter if someone wants to try for the first time.

How much wood is it? Could be interested.

I have a heap of home brew gear here that I'm also looking to get rid of. I have the same heavy tallies, they are the best for brewing!

Hard to quantify how much - maybe 20 - 30 pieces of 270cm long rough sawn studs. The nails have not been removed - hard work to get them out.

You can take as much or as little as you like, what I cant get rid of will have to go to the tip.

Mark,

Did you end up selling the bottles? Did they sell well? I need to get rid of my bottles; wondering what price I should put on them.

No, didn't sell then but gave them away to someone from the 4x4 Action Forum. I was just glad not to have to move them or take them to the tip.

As for the firewood goes, I decided that I could use it to make some shelves for the shed - it was great fun taking all the 50 year old nails out of it :lolno:
