There were some nice inclines.

And there were some nice valleys to negotiate (can you spot the two cars?)

Lunch was back at the Gantry. The kids were playing in the dirt, adults were making lunch, and the birds were watching closely. As in the photo below, there was a kookaburra waiting on a branch just above my head watching for his share of our lunch. And the camera phone has a very wide angle, so I only 15cm away with the phone when I took the photo. And the kookaburra reused to fly off. Other birds seemed to come very close to people as well.

More tracks were tested in the afternoon, and only then I remembered I should switch on the GPS tracking. Below is a low-res screen capture. Interesting to compare the track-log to the park map.

A few people then started to head for home, while the other half tested more tracks, and had a look at Mt Mee Rocky Water Hole, and Neurum Creek campground.
The BOM didn't quite get the "Mostly Sunny" forecast correct, but we only had a few isolated sprinkles throughout the day. On a whole, it appeared everyone had a good time. A big thanks to Steve and Kim for organising the trip.
