After paying the entry fee and receiving the park induction, we split into two groups and started to explore the park. The main tracks were shown on the map, but there were many side tracks to explore. Probably since the park opened only 7 weeks ago, the tracks were generally in good condition, with only a few tricky spots here and there, e.g. a bent bullbar "here", and a nice new anderson plug cover ripped off "there".
We'll have to remember that the park uses channel 13 as the emergency channel, so we will need to choose a different channel if (when) we retuaccidentallye groups accidentially meet up on a loop track at the far end of the park, and allowed the other on-coming traffic to pass, we returned to the huts/picnic area for lunch. This also allowed the kids to run around, and around, and around, etc, etc. They seemed to have a lot of fun.
The afternoon allowed people to chose a group again for another explore of the park, and another test of the 4x4 play ground.
The hours passed quickly, and by 4:00pm the last group was heading for home.
Some of my photos are below, and I'll add some video over the next few days. Would others like to upload their favourites too?

Some interesting decents.

Wheel in the air

CoLittlens were dry, but there was still a liitle mud around .... and we found it.

Proof of the dusty conditions.

By the end of the day, the clean vehicles weren't ... clean.
