This is the email we got from 4wd QLD about the tree planting in Mt Mee.
To all clubs interested in participating in this event, please ensure that your members are aware of the following details:
Meeting Place: The Gantry Day Use Area, Mt Mee Section, D’Aguilar National Park
When: Meeting time 8am for a 9am start, Saturday November 17, 2012.
Activities Planned: Weeding, Lantana removal, Planting of 500 Saplings around the Gantry Day Use Area
There is a BBQ planned for after the event.
Hoping to get 50 participants, however many hands makes for light work.
Please advise if your club is participating and an approximate number if possible by October 27 so that we can plan the BBQ accordingly.
I'm interested in going but I can't commit just yet. If you are interested please reply to this post so we can get numbers together.
