Nerang National Park Sat 13 April

The next club trip is a day trip to Nerang National Park. This is another trip into a Managed Access Area, similar to Numinbah and the Telstra Track at Spicer's Gap. This will be the first time the club has been there, so little is known about the tracks available. I spoke to the ranger in charge earlier this week, and we have been given the go ahead, but it will be pending the weather.

so get in quick. We have a visitor coming so that only leaves 8 spots.

Where: Nerang National Park
Cost: Nil
When: Saturday 13 April
Time: 9 am
Meeting Place: McDonald's HELENSVALE - Take exit 60, left on to Helensvale Rd, left onto Siganto Dr (last one there has to write up the trip report)
UHF: Channel 13
Trip Standard: Expected to be Blue Square
What to bring: Bring lunch and something to sit on - I really dont know where we will be for lunch, but I will find out more from the Ranger before the trip.

I have been having difficulty getting a hold of the Ranger. Have been playing phone tag at the moment. So watch this space.

I have finally been able to get in touch and make arrangement with the Ranger. I will be picking the key up tomorrow.

At the moment, there are rain periods predicted for Saturday and we have been advised not to go in there if it is raining. I will post here at 7:00 am on Saturday as to whether the trip is going ahead.

All going well, dont forget to bring lunch and some chairs with you.
