Landcruiser Mountain Park 27-28 April 2013

Hi All,

I have been looking forward to this trip for a while because this weekend I won't have kids!


Where: LandCruiser Mountain Park
Cost: $45 per night per vehicle for 24 hour stay. For more details go here.
When: Saturday 27 April
Meeting Place: BP Service Centre Morayfield (Nth Bound) at 8:30am for a 8:45am departure
UHF: Channel 13
Trip Standard: Double Black Diamond
Camping: We will be camping at Trakka Terrace (map)
Firewood: You are allowed to collect firewood throughout the park, so if someone has a chainsaw please bring it.

As this is just after Anzac day, I was planning on going up on Friday morning. So if you are keen to get up there early please let me know. This also means that I won't be at the Saturday meeting place, so I'll need a volunteer to coordinate there for me.

Dave will come along, and be available for the Friday start. I too will be kid-less for the weekend.

At $45 per day, I assume that is to cover the wood for a fire that can be seen from Brisbane.

I bet if the name of the park was "Frontera" instead of "Landcruiser" would have been 5 bucks a day instead 45

I am sorry I cannot make this trip, but I should be able to make the Gordon Country trip hopefully with a 2" lift kit and new tyres.
