The rest of the group made their way down on the Saturday, with some making a special effort to ensure they arrived before the Christmas dinner started.
Dinner was catered by the owners of Janowen Hills.
On Saturday morning, a group went out for a drive shortly after an early lunch. After only a few hundred metres, I found out why they call them mud tyres.

We soon stopped at a small valley, and attempted a very slippery include.
Some drivers had the right tyres, some the right vehicles, but others were just dog good drivers.

These vehicles without mud tyres certainly had a difficult time on some hills, and needed a winch for the steeper bits.

Some people found an interesting and potentially very dangerous slope. It good Mariana didn't see the Frontera's attempt to go up. (hehehe - I have the video)

Guys!!!! - not in front of the kids. Oh yes - that's right, there were a few pink shirt games organised by Cheesemaker.

There was a competition to pull some cars. Adults verses some tiny kids. Yeah - the adults won (just).

Cricket was next on the agenda

A good percentage of the group. There seems to be a colour problem with the camera. Many of the blue shirts appeared pink.

It was certainly a wet weekend, but it did clear up by Sunday morning.

Some people were flying around the tracks, others just had flies.

After dinner, a highlight was the "thieving secret santa" game.

There were some good gifts being "stolen", but one was impossible to steal. The grip was too tight. But then his brother stole it anyway.

BTW - it took me almost 4 hours to clean the car. The kids knocked off almost 29kg of mud from under the car before I started with the high pressure water cleaner. The grass now has a good 2 cm top dressing.
A big thanks to all the people who came along, including the guests who came along just for the dinner.
It was a great event even with the wet weather.
