Does anyone know anything about the state forest to the west of Lake Somerset? I have had a little bit of a look around and can't find much info.

The first question is how do you get into it, it seems to be surround by private property. Lots of roads marked going to it but they seem to be across farm paddocks.

The Satellite view shows much is a plantation of some type. But there are a few tracks over the hills.
Woodwards Ln and Monks Rd seem to lead to some tracks that go over the ridges. Could be some interesting tracks.

I think you can get access from Gregors Creek Rd.

I have traced a few visible tracks as well as the access track.
