You may have heard many rumours over the years about LCMP being sold. I just came across this one and it seems to be legit. It is also announced on the LCMP website.

They quote "Your own fenceable, private parcel of land (a Croft) to do on as you wish, set amongst The Sanctuary, which is an exclusive entry, 9,300 acre district of land protected under Private Trust."
The prices are below, but this means no more 4x4ing, as the land is being effectively being subdivided. The "croft" seems to be way to get around the sub-division zoning currently in place.
