We then rolled down the highway towards Spicers Gap Road and up the dirt road to Moss's Well. This is a natural spring used by the pioneers.
Here we are at Govenor's chair (at the top of Spicers Gap).
After a few showers on the way there we had good weather at the chair. After admiring the view we headed back down. Nev lost hist tow hitch recovery point so we were on the lookout for it on the way down. No luck there. Greg very kindly scooted back to Aratula to look for it but to no avail.
Here we are at the top of Cunningham's gap re-grouping.
After that we tackled the top part of the track. Conditions were good and there was plenty of traction. We found a couple of side tracks. One had washout next to it that could swallow a car whole.
There were a few little water holes and boggy patches. Apart from a mishap with a sidestep we all made it through easy.
Lunch at Cunningham's Gap then home. We all had a great time!
