Hi All,

I’m planning a camping trip on Saturday the 31st of Aug to Sunday the 1st of Sept at Glendon camp ground (https://glendoncamping.com.au/), which is a large private property with reasonably mild 4x4 tracks, a large lake, and even cabins for rent.

One of the key goals is to do some sunset and night-sky photography. There should be no moon that night, which should give people lots of time to take photos from just after sunset. Hopefully we will have clear skies.

Is anyone interested in doing some light 4x4ing during the daytime, and then either sitting around a campfire at night, or joining others behind a camera for an hour or more in the evening?

Where: Glendon
Cost: See below.
When: Saturday 31st Aug to 1st of Sept
Meeting Place: Meet at the Aratula by 10:00am
UHF: Channel 13
Trip Standard: Green
Trip Leader: Dave

Glendon is about 75 minutes drive from Aratula.
Bookings : Cash to be paid at the office.

CAMPING FEES: $25.00 (2 Adults) $5.00 (per Child) $13.00 (extra Adult)
Cabins : $70 for 2 adults, $10 extra for kids.

Please let us know if you wish to come along.

Cheers
David.

We are all going, they have no cabins left so we will have to rough it in a tent.

**edit** Just had a look at the weather forecast (for Warwick) and I don't think we have the gear for temperatures that low. The camp ground say its OK just to turn up on the day for an unpowered site but unless the temperature pics up a bit I dont think we can do it. I will check the weather again on Thursday.

I'll see you there. Is it the Shell servo we're meeting at?
