This trip will start around the Charlie Moorelands area and explore north toward Borumba Dam near Imbil. This is hilly country with some nice views, a few little creeks to cross and in the past we have also found some very slippery sections as well (weather dependent). The plan is a day trip but if anybody would like to camp, their are campgrounds at Charlie Mooreland and at the Bourmba Dam end.
Where: Charlie Mooreland Day trip

Lunch will be out in the bush so bring some food and drink (and maybe a chair if you like the comforts of home )
We are going to have to watch the weather on this one, if there is any decent rain in the area we will need to postpone as there are plenty of steep red clay hills.
Actually, an e-mail hasn't gone out to the group, so if they don't log onto the forum, they are unlikely to be aware of the trip.
But given the weather forecast, it may be cancelled anyway???
Due to the very poor weather forecast, it has been decided to postpone the trip. I will look at running it a little later in the month, all being well.
