went 4 a drive out 2 duck ck rd 2day 4 a look. got part the way up b4 having 2 turn around due 2 a landslide of shrubs and small trees over the track just a little 2 high 2 go ova and they covered the whole track so couldn't go around either. track good other wise. lots of flowing water 2 drive through. so turned around and went 4 a play at the logan village pine forest. very rutted, lots of wash outs and floods but still good 4 a little play.

Jason, we are hoping to go out on Sunday if you are interested. Probably will try for scenic rim again.

Interesting to hear about duck creek. Would the track be clear able if we all got together to do it?

hi ben, no it is a fairly big landslide. it would require a back hoe but was talking to a few people out there and they said it would b clear by next weekend. i live close, only at browns plains, not that far from duck creek really if it helps i could go 4 a drive out there on friday arvo after work and have a look if it open or not and if we can get up or not. can't wait 2 meet the club.

Victoria and I are keen to go up Duck Creek Rd if possible this weekend. We're also keen on the switch to the Springs.

Cool. I think we will be right for duck creek this weekend. I can't see that it is closed in the scenic rim council web site.

I just rang Arcott Station which is located roughly 74klms west of Stanthorpe and i remember it being a nice place to camp many years ago and i left a message and it seems like they are still operating. What is everyones idea of maybe a trip out there over say easter

Just letting everyone know that the trip i was going to do to the connondales will have to be postponed as the national park is closed due to recent weather.

So is there any where else that could be different that people would like to go and see.

I was thinking of maybe staying at Flannagans and those that are interested we could possibly do a day trip over to spicers gap or even do oriellys
