Hello Everyone
Please find below copies of emails from 4WD Qld and QPWS regarding a working bee at Mt Mee on 25th Feb for 4WD club members.
If you wish to attend please contact us by 16th Feb so we can advise 4WD Qld of your attendance.
Thank you
Kim
Hi All,
If your club is interested in attending the working bee outlined below, could you please get back to me with an indication of numbers (both vehicle & persons) by COB Friday Feb 17.
I will then compile the list and send on to QPWS.
I realise this is short notice, however it is a good way of showing QPWS both that we are keen to get in there and help, and that we are more than capable of doing so.
Please ensure that if you are attending you wear your club shirts proudly.
Regards

Subject: 4WD working bee
Hi Darren,
Following on from your meeting with Andrew Kingston in December last year, the Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service (QPWS) staff in the D'Aguilar National Park are proposing a working bee for members of 4WD Queensland in the Mount Mee section of the park.
This working bee will be on Saturday 25 February, 8:30am til 12:30pm, meeting at the QPWS office just before The Gantry day-use area at Mount Mee. Participants will need to bring post hole shovels, levels, spud bars (crow bar with a part on the end to pack dirt with), hat, water and wear appropriate clothing for working in.
The work will consist of reinstalling guide posts and washing road signs along the three forest drives:
- Mt Mee forest drive (Lovedays Road, Neurum Creek Road and "L" Traverse);
- Western escarpment forest drive (western escarpment circuit); and
- Range road forest drive (Peggs Road, Chambers Road, Range Road and Lacey's Creek Road).
Regards,
Diana Hall

Steve, I got a message from 4wd QLD announcing that this will be cancelled due to the weather (you probably got the same email as well). Not surprising really
Can you please let Brian know?
Thanks
