Glendon or Landcruiser

Post by Capella_Ben »

Hi All,

I was just looking at the trip calendar for the rest of the year. In October we could either go to Glendon Camp Grounds or LandCruiser Mountain Park.

Glendon Camp Grounds has pretty good looking camping, and some OK looking 4wding. You can also do some Gold panning. Glendon is just past Warwick.

LandCruiser Mountain Park has average camping but really good 4wding. It's a great place to have a go at some really interesting tracks. LandCruiser is near Jimna.

I'm thinking that Glendon might be a good idea before it gets too hot. Your thoughts.....

We will be up for Glendon but if the vote goes to cruiser park then count us out.

Yeah ... we would vote for Glendon too (but only because of the gold panning, which I'm sure the kids would love.) But we would also go the Landcruiser Prado Mountain Park too.

I would be happy to go to either.

What will we do in November if we go to Glendon in October?

We could do Landcruiser, or I was thinking an exploration type trip to Amamoor. If you look on 4x4 earth, you can see some interesting tracks around the region. I'm going to Kilkivan for a camp in early October and may have time for a quick look around.

You can tag along if you like. We'll be doing mainly kid related activities though.

OK, looks like Glendon is the way to go for October. Does anyone have any dates in mind?
