New Tyre Laws
TYRE SIZE UP TO 2” BIGGER NOW ALLOWED IN QUEENSLAND :clap:

and a further 2" inches of lift on top of that for a total of 3" extra clearance.

Oh yes. Now I can finally get some mud tyres ... legally.

I just need to wear out my ATRs. Hmmmm .... 20,000km of tread. Sounds like a quick trip around Australia is needed, and I can justify replacing the tyres. :lol:

If you want to look at the NCOP standard have a read of:

Section 4.2.4 discussed overall tyre diameter.

For everybody's reference, NCOP (National Code of Practice for Light Vehicle Construction and Modification) is released as Vehicle Standards Bulletin 14 (VSB 14) and can be found here:
