The plan for this year is to set dates so everyone knows in advance when the trips will be on. Then all we have to do is fill it with trips - your suggestions including which month you think will work would be great.
I have started with some suggestions - looking forward to everyones contributions.
The calendar
January
12 - Day Trip (perhaps somewhere we can go for a swim)
26,27,28 (Australia Day Long Weekend) - Freshwater Camp ground, Cooloola Coast (Mark)

Any one of the gold panning areas with a creek/river (e.g. northen NSW area)

Suggestions for not-so-warm months

Girraween National Park (at least a long weekend needed) http://www.pleasetakemeto.com/australia ... nformation
Bold Rock National Park (Girraween,

Longer Trips

Carnarvon
Day Trips
Spicers Gap
Glasshouse Mountains (if we can find something open)
Bribie Island
Imbul National Park and/or Conondale National Park
Stradbroke Island (it's so close to Brisbane, the fuel saving covers the ferry cost)
Mt Mee / Dayboro (maybe this time after wet weather to it a little harder)
Spring Mountain (near Forest Lake)
Gatton region (just north of Gatton ... lots of tracks)
D'Agular National Park
Nothing has been planned for the 12th at this stage, so this is your opportunity to suggest somewhere. I wont be able to make it, but I am sure some other club members will be able to.
I would love to go but unfortunately I am working. I am now working in the City Ann Street opposite the Telstra Building if you want to meet up I can then return the memory stick.

Tara is a 4 hour drive west of Brisbane and it will be cold in August, plenty of other things to see & do if we think one day of Camel racing is enough.
