Post by cuboid »

The next trip is planned for Mt Mee on Saturday 9 February. The park is currently closed due to the recent flooding, however I will keep a close eye on there website and contact the ranger closer to the planned trip.

Where- The park is located about a 90 minute drive north west of Brisbane
When- Saturday 9th Febuary
Meeting Place- BP Morayfield
Meeting Time- 8:45 for 9am departure
Uhf - Channel 13
Costs - Free
Standard - Black diamond (due to the possibility of slippery conditions)

What to bring- Bring lunch and drinks. The plan will be to have lunch at the Gantry.

Please note that I have noticed the note above, and have recorded a note (using notepad) to reserve Noteday (sorry - Sunday), ie. I'll come along.

The Park Alert has disappeared from the D'aguilar National Park's web page which would suggest that all the tracks are open, so at this stage all is looking good for Saturday. I will continue to monitor the Alerts, and if any changes, we can keep Glasshouse as a backup plan.
